Probably the best self-help book on anxiety I have come across. Stress is a Decision: Weekes says chronic anxiety is a result wweekes sensitization, a sort of self-perpetuating cycle of agony that bewilders otherwise intelligent people.

Not fun to experience because you don’t know when or where a panic attack will happen, however, Weekes’s books can help. The gist of the approach uelp to help you helo with the physical and mental aspects of anxiety through some very simple coping techniques; sort of the precursor to mindfulness that is spouted about today.
